I recently went to a MAC counter, not looking for anything specific but of course came home with a few products. Although, when i did come home i realized i was out of Fix + & it's the one thing i didn't get while i was there. I guess someone's making another MAC trip!
Anyways, i only purchased 4 products. Nothings new or limited edition, everything's apart of their permanent collection. The products i purchased are actually products i plan on using for my wedding day. The MAC MUA tested out each product on me & i actually loved them.
Cream Colour Base "Improper Copper"- $17.50
I wanted this for a natural glow, it looked perfectly blended into my skin tone. I wouldn't suggest this as a highlighter if you have a lighter skin tone. I'm an NC42 in MAC Mineralize Satinfinish foundation, so i'm more of a medium-tan skin tone. When applied it has a orange/gold sheen to it, gave me a natural glow.
Satin Eyeshadow "Cork"- $15
I purchased this because it worked so well as a crease color for me. It's a satin finish eyeshadow, has a grey-ish tone to it. When you first look at it, you would disagree. I found that you do have to build the color for pigmentation but because i use it as a crease color i like to pick up color as i go & not all at once.
Lustre Viva Glam V- $14.50
First thing i love about Viva Glam lipsticks is that every cent you paid for it goes to charity. MAC created MAC AID FUND where they donate the money to help young men, women, & children with HIV/AIDS. Everyone go buy Viva Glam! Viva Glam V is a neutral pink lustre lipstick that has tiny gold flexes. It's very sheer but build-able if you want more color payoff.
Mineralize Concealer "NW30"- $19
Usually i wouldn't even look at a NW30 in anything. The MUA actually tested it on me and surprisingly it did conceal my under eye circles but didn't brighten under my eyes. Typically most women purchase concealers that are at least 1 or 2 shades lighter than their skin tone, that helps brighten under your eyes. I plan on using the concealer to hide the dark circles and use "Improper Copper" to highlight. I like that it has a pointed brush applicator rather than the sponge tip, it's different. This is just me though & what i thought of the product/worked for me.
That about wraps up my haul, i do have a drugstore haul but i decided to seperate the posts. It would have been a real pain in the butt to write and too long for you beauties to read. So look out for that! :)
Thanks for reading! Much love.
